LYRA is a group of friendly astronomers dedicated to the study and sharing of astronomy. We hold club nights, observation nights, lectures and arrange demonstrations for clubs and schools.

Our society started way back in 1967 and is still going strong. You are most welcome to visit us or join our society.

Our next Observing sessions will be on 28th Feb. 2017 at Parkhill Hotel, Barn Car park from 7:00pm

The Sun sets around 5:30pm so plenty of time for Observing or of its cloudy, to catch up in the bar, or Coach House room with any questions or problems.


Our next scheduled Meeting is the 14th March.
