LYRA is a group of friendly astronomers dedicated to the study and sharing of astronomy. We hold club nights, observation nights, lectures and arrange demonstrations for clubs and schools.

Our society started way back in 1967 and is still going strong. You are most welcome to visit us or join our society.

Our next scheduled Meeting is the 13th December. With our annual Christmas meal for members and guests only at the Parkhill Hotel.

Your menu choices and money should be with the treasurer by 22nd Nov.

 

The AGM will be held on the 10th January 2017. This will take place at Coach House room, Parkhill Hotel commencing at 19:30. All members welcome.
